Ellen has a law degree and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has been a Social Worker since 1991 and a mediator since 1996. Currently, her practice (Craine Counseling and Consulting Group) focuses on counseling individuals (children and adults), families and couples in the areas of relationship issues and loss and grief related to death, divorce and illness. In addition, she is a social work ethics consultant and works with individual social workers and clinics/agencies. Ellen teaches a variety of social work ethics related workshops through Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State University Continuing Education programs. She also presents regularly for the Michigan Chapter- National Association of Social Workers.
